 Massachusetts Friends of Midwives - mfom.org- Massachusetts Friends of Midwives (MFOM),founded in 1984, is a non-profit citizens organizationthat promotes each women's right to give birth whereand with whom they choose. MFOM also seeks toprotect the practice of midwifery and promote theMidwifery Model of Care in the Commonwealth ofMassachusetts. We also seek to educate the publicabout childbirth options and about the role of midwiferyin modern-day health care.
